Winter in Colorado is usually the time that the portraits and weddings slow down. This allows me the time to get out and do some personal projects or work outside of my norm. What follows is something of that nature. I enjoy the outdoor life and camping so I will take just about any excuse to get out into nature. With so, I have to have gear for such times. I have had my Benchmade Bushcrafter 162 for a little over a year and have been using the sub-par sheath it came it. I finally got fed up with it and did my research on a custom leather sheath. I settled on one from Patriot Leather Co. out of Washington.
After getting it in the mail, I have to say that I am quite impressed. The craftsmanship is top notch and the whole process to get it was quite simple. Skyler helped me to ensure I had all my questions answered before I ordered so that I was getting the sheath I wanted. If you are or might be in the market for a sheath, check out patriotleatherco.com.
I decided to snap some shots of it while out on my last hiking trip. Thanks again Skyler!
